This weekend was busy. A little of this, a little of that.
There was some baking: homemade granola (recipe passed on from Amanda at Habit of Being… I hope it’s ok I linked it up!), and yummy cheese crackers.

There was a bit of shopping, primarily for The Teenager, who was dying to get new boots. These boots, to be specific.

Yes. Those are four. inch. heels. My baby is growing up.
And finally, this morning, mass with a friend.

We are off in a bit to go have dinner with my in-laws. All in all, a good weekend, don’t you think?
Linking up with Amanda. Sharing my weekend and wondering about yours… will you join us?
Yes, a very good weekend and the boots are adorable! xx
Love the boots but heels that high are in my past. Your weekend sounds perfect!
I love the granola- I’ll have to try it. I’m an Amanda fan, so I’m sure it’s delish. Plus I love the pic of it.
And, I LOVE that you got the teen high-heels. You are for sure a cool mommy. XO
Oooh, yummy!
Love the shoes. I own one pair of high heels, which my mum gave me when I went over for a visit last time. I’m too scared to wear them in public still, so hats off to your teenager!
4 inches!!!?? Holy moly, oh to be so young and pliable!! They are very hip shoes btw. I have a simple pair, but dark brown and minus about 2 1/2 inches.
And the granola looks wonderful! Perfect for fall:).
xoxo
