Yarning Along with Ginny:
It’s been a great knitting week around here! I got some rows done on my puddle, helped the Teenager pick a hat pattern, and got one slipper done for Kate. She has needed some new ones for quite a while, and this pattern, a take on the Saartje bootie, was perfect for my needs. I hope to finish the second one and some mary jane straps tonight. If I hadn’t started so late I could have finished them in one sitting. They are SUPER quick.

I finished Making Money, whew! It was good, but my reading time hasn’t been what I wish it were, so it took forever! I’ve scrapped the others from last weeks list. I wasn’t interested in them. I’m working on finally finishing Wildwood, and I started The Good Earth last night. So far, so good!
I’ll be by to check in on my fellow knitters a bit later… tomorrow even. It’s busy days around here!
I haven’t read The Good Earth since high school…a really long time ago. Tenth grade, I think. I probably ought to read it again. I might enjoy it now that it’s not forced
Those little slippers are so cute!
I read the Good Earth in the past five years, funny I forgot that I read it as a teenager so I kept thinking “I think I’ve read this” the entire time. Great book! Love your slippers
Those are such sweet little slippers. The Good Earth is on my list of books to read.
I can see your teenager in that hat, lovely pattern. And the slippers, oh my goodness! I want some!
